New Director of Lending Operations Joins Yakima Valley Credit Union

Yakima, Washington (July 17, 2008) – Yakima Valley Credit Union has hired Alicia Stromme as its new Director of Lending Operations.  This new position will oversee the consumer and mortgage loan divisions at the Credit Union.  Stromme has over 13 years experience in the financial services industry.

"Alicia's many years of sales, lending, and leadership experience are a welcomed addition to our Credit Union,” said Mina Worthington, Yakima Valley Credit Union’s President/CEO. “We look forward to maximizing member service levels and opportunities for growth."

Prior to joining Yakima Valley Credit Union, Stromme held various positions in Washington Mutual’s Retail Division. She was the Home Loan Center Manager for the past two years and prior to that she was the Vice President, Manager of the West Yakima Financial Center working her way up from part-time teller. Alicia has a bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Spanish from Washington State University. Alicia has served on various committees with Yakima Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers at local schools.
