Yakima Valley Credit Union Toppenish Branch Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Toppenish, WA (June 3, 2008) - The Yakima Valley Credit Union officially opened its sixth branch in Toppenish, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and several days of festivities the week of May 29-31.

Events began at the Toppenish Branch with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Noon, May 29, 2008. Toppenish Officials and Yakima Valley Credit Union Board of Directors and Managers were in attendance. Officially cutting the ribbon was new President/CEO Mina Worthington.

The Yakima Valley Credit Union presented a $500 check to Tracy Fletcher of Safe Haven. Safe Haven offers a variety of services for youth and adults including a computer lab for homework, internet access and free time for games and drawing. The Credit Union is proud to be part of the Toppenish Community and is happy to support such an outstanding program for youth.

Toppenish is a full-service branch with an ATM and two drive-ups. Members can conduct business at the branch Monday – Saturday. Hours Monday through Friday are 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the drive-up open until 6:00 p.m. ; Saturday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. , with the drive-up open until 2:00 p.m. Branch Manager is Manuel Coronado, with Carmen Reynolds as the Assistant Manager and Valentin Villa as a Member Service Representative.
