Yakima Valley Credit Union now open in Terrace Heights

Yakima, WA (July 1, 2008) - Yakima Valley Credit Union has opened a new location in Terrace Heights at 171 Rail Loop Road. The 3,600 square foot office is a full-service branch with a surcharge free ATM and two drive-up lanes. This is the 6th Branch in Yakima County for the Credit Union. The interior designer was Harris Office Supplies and the contractor was Try-Ply Construction, LLC of Yakima, Washington.

The grand opening will take place Thursday-Saturday, July 24-26. A ribbon cutting will take place at 4:00pm on Thursday, July 24 followed by a reception and tours of the new branch. Other activities for the grand opening include tours of the facility, refreshments, door prizes and balloons and gifts for children on Friday. Saturday, activities begin at 9:00am giving the first 50 people through the door a YVCU sunshade. A free hot dog lunch (while supplies last) is planned from 11:30am to 1:30pm, clowns Mr. and Mrs. Giggles will be there from 11:00am–1:00pm doing a magic show, face painting and balloon animals. We will also offer balloons and gifts for children, tours and door prizes from 9:00am-2:00pm on Saturday.

Branch manager Lydia and staff Michaelene, Anna, Brie and Traci are ready to help our current members and new members with their financial needs. The branch lobby is open M-F 9:30-5:30pm with the drive-up open until 6:00pm. Saturday the drive-up is open from 9:00am-2pm and the lobby open from 10:00am-1:00pm.
