Yakima Valley Credit Union offers a special savings program for our Very Important Savers ages 3 to 12. Dahler (pronounced Dollar) the Dalmatian wants to teach kids all about saving money and making account balances grow.

When the account is opened, the child will receive a "Doggy Bag" which includes: A Club brochure, a Very Important Saver stamp card, a Club pencil, and a special prize for their first deposit.

With each deposit, members receive a Tail-Wagger's Prize. Stamp cards will also be stamped based on the following deposit amounts:
$5 - $14.99   (1 Stamp)
$15 - $24.99 (2 Stamps)
$25 - $34.99 (3 Stamps)
$35 - $44.99 (4 Stamps)
$45 and over (5 Stamps)

When the stamp card is full (10 Stamps) it can be traded for a TOP-DOG prize!

*Note: Because the Club was designed to encourage the children to save their money, payroll deposits do not count as an eligible stamp card deposit.

To join the Club, simply open a share (savings) account with a minimum deposit of $5. For information on becoming a member, go to membership, call (509) 248-1720, visit any YVCU location, or send an e-mail with your request.

Members can open a certificate of deposit for as little as $100.00 once their share account has reached at least $50.00.

Members receive a birthday card and invitations to fun activities throughout the year.

Money in the account earns dividends!
