Current Positions

Member Services Representative

Position Summary: Responsible for performing a broad variety of paying and receiving functions for members, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances. Assists with other member service functions such as transaction inquiries, account data maintenance, and account balancing problems. Actively cross-sells credit union products and services to meet member needs. Attends to any and all member service needs that may arise.

Two part time positions (approximately 52-60 hours per month). These positions will require working Mondays and Saturdays or Fridays and Saturdays, schedule may vary as needed.

Position Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Substitute of equivalent knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and/or experience will be considered. Possible training plan may be required. Good communication skills. Professional appearance, dress and attitude. Previous cash handling, sales, and/or experience in a financial institution a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Part time position (approximately 40 hours per month) is open at Westside (50th Ave). This position will require working Mondays 11:00a.m.-6:00p.m. and Saturdays 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m., schedule may vary as needed.

Position Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Substitute of equivalent knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and/or experience will be considered. Audit and Risk Officer

Position Summary: Performs functions that help ensure Credit Union compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and statutory requirements regarding design of policies, procedures, forms, products, programs and promotions; disseminates compliance information and advises on compliance training curricula. Performs risk-based internal audit functions, including leading audit engagements to ensure timeliness and compliance with audit standards as well as performing independent audits of the Credit Union's operations and internal controls. Performs risk and security functions, including making recommendations to reduce risk exposure in the areas of asset/liability, credit, operational and compliance. Participates on other special projects.

Position Qualifications: Bachelor degree in related field and professional certifications in audit and compliance or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience required. Also, five years of related experience preferred. Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to the financial industry. Knowledge of customer service principals and business and management principals. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to act in a trustworthy and diplomatic manner. Able to identify and solve problems. Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions. Effective project and time management abilities. Ability to instruct or teach others. Able to maintain confidentiality. Able to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. Able to operate related computer applications and equipment.
