Position Summary: Provide effective clerical support for all phases of consumer loan activities. Process consumer loans and approves loans within guidelines. Provide excellent service and cross-sell credit union products. Establish and maintain effective and professional business relationships with members, credit union staff and management. Perform related duties as required or assigned.

Position Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. One to two years of related office experience. Previous experience in a financial institution preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Vice President of Lending

Position Summary: Responsibilities include developing departmental objectives; ensuring optimal loan portfolio performance through underwriting, leadership, and management of employees; and developing and implementing lending products, plans, policies and procedures. This key position is part of the executive team which has responsibility for strategic planning, goal achievement, risk management, regulatory compliance, policy development, contingency planning and budget development.

Position Qualifications: Bachelor degree. Minimum of 3 years experience managing multiple employees and/or multiple departments. Five to ten years of progressive lending experience in a financial institution. Experienced in developing lending policies and programs for mortgage & commercial real estate products. Must also possess experience selling real estate loans on the secondary market.

Technical Support Specialist

Position Summary: Solves problems with computer related equipment. Maintains various systems and maintains core processing system. Engages in training on systems and new technology. Establish and maintain effective and professional business relationships with members, credit union staff and management. Assists with other projects as needed. Helps ensure that information technology is meeting member and employee needs.

Position Qualifications: Associates Degree in Computer Science or 3 years of related experience by a combination of education, training, and experience. Basic knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, software, and telecommunications systems. Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Knowledge of arithmetic and algebra. Knowledge of SQL preferred.

Support Specialist II

Position Summary: Solve problems with Core Processing and computer related equipment. Assist in processing on Core Processing System and help maintain Core Processing System. Increase knowledge and skills through group and self-directed training. Establish and maintain effective and professional business relationships with members, credit union staff and management. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. College level courses in computer related field preferred. Five years experience using IBM compatible personal computers. SQL experience a plus. Basic knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, software, and telecommunications.

Bilingual Member Services Representative

Position Summary: Responsible for performing a broad variety of paying and receiving functions for members, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances. Assists with other member service functions such as transaction inquiries, account data maintenance, and account balancing problems. Actively cross-sells credit union products and services to meet member needs. Attends to any and all member service needs that may arise.

Position Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Good communication skills. Professional appearance, dress and attitude. Previous cash handling, sales, and/or experience in a financial institution a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Accounting Assistant I

Position Summary: Process daily deposits in a Check 21 environment. Perform assigned accounting and related clerical support functions. Establish and maintain effective and professional business relationships with members, credit union staff and management. Perform related duties as required or assigned.

Position Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Typing and keyboarding experience. Previous financial institution and/or accounting experience preferred. Good communication skills.

Call Center Representative

Position Summary: Assist members by phone in the call center. Perform teller, member service, and basic lending functions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with area personnel and with management. Perform related duties as required or assigned.

Position Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Good communication skills. Professional appearance, dress and attitude. Previous call center and/or financial institution experience preferred.

Member Service Representative

This is a part-time position, approximately 80 hours per month.

Position Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. Good communication skills. Professional appearance, dress and attitude. Previous cash handling, sales, and/or experience in a financial institution a plus.

Mortgage Loan Officer

Position Summary: Originate mortgage loans. Conduct initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares complete loan application packages and necessary documentation. Serves Members, prospective Members, Builders, Developers, and Realtors promptly and professionally. Establish & maintain professional business relationships. Assists Credit Union personnel as necessary and performs other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent. One to two years of loan processing experience preferred. General knowledge of mortgage loan services and procedures including accounting and economic principals. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attentive to detail. Good communication and customer services skills. Previous experience in a financial institution a plus.
